I never tire of exploring the remains of the WWII radar station at Rodel – partly owing to my Grandfather’s recollections of his time stationed on the radar on the Great Orme in North Wales. There’s some great images on http://www.anti-aircraft.co.uk/Rodel_Park.html including this one of the interior of one of the air-raid shelters. It would be great to take some more of my own photos. Thanks to the recent inclement weather, the interior is currently under about 18 inches of water – so maybe next summer!
